Our busiest time of year is from around October to March and during this time we do employ a range of seasonal staff to operate our baler fleet and work within the silage company, Central Harvest Ltd. We are generally recruiting for these positions in June and July. We offer a minimum of 40 hours per week of work regardless of the weather conditions. If you have a current UK licence you are able to drive in NZ with this for up to one year. For tractor work we normally require a NZ Class 2 licence and/or wheels/tracks/rollers endorsement. Our contracting business is located very close to Christchurch so there is lots to see and do when not at work. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in and around Christchurch, concerts and rugby matches. The Christchurch Adventure park is a great facility for mountain bike enthusiasts along with plenty of tracks to walk/run or ride in and around the Port Hills. Our staff have been able to join local sports clubs and be involved in our community.
